Fuzor combinations.
There are certain Fuzor combinations, like Liger Zero and Fire Phoenix. Fused together, they create Liger Zero Phoenix. There are many, many more combinations, which are listed on the RPG's Zoid shop stat page. However, you can only fuse Fuzor Partners. They must be a correct combination. On a side note, you may fuse your zoid, and a friend's zoid if they're a correct combination for battle. It will take some practice for two people to operate one zoid, but it is allowed and possible.
Obtaining Zoids.
Zoids can only be obtained through the RPG shop. You have to buy all zoids except your starter, which is free. Zoids stats and prices are listed in the Zoids Shop part of the RPG boards. Most of the time, you just buy your Zoid, but if you're lucky, a friend in the RPG might give one to you, or buy one for you. You may even receive a Zoid for your birthday.
Buying a base Zoid.
Every Zoid bought is a base zoid. They can either be upgraded, or evolved, or kept as they are. A base Zoid is like a Shield Liger, or Geno Saurer.
Upgrading Zoids.
An upgraded zoid is like a Spark Liger (from a Shield Liger), or a Psycho Geno Saurer (from a Geno Saurer). They must be upgraded from a base Zoid, meaning you must have the base zoid, and the cash to change the zoid.
Evolving Zoids.
Zoids can be evolved by having a base zoid, cash, and an organoid. An example of evolution is like a Shield Liger to Blade Liger, or Geno Saurer to Geno Breaker. You may use your organoid, or get a friend to help you with their organoid. Do note that your Zoid may take on small characteristics of the organoid that evolved it like, for example, color or personality. The evolution process must also be role played on the RPG.
Modifying Zoids.
Zoids may be customized through a few different ways. First, through adding weapons, available from the RPG's shop. You may also change the color scheme of your zoid.
Custom Zoids.
As for making a new zoid altogether, or making modifications other than what's available in the shop, is not allowed. However, our mods occasionally create zoids for the shop, and if you have a good idea, feel free to run it by one of them. They also make custom weapons. But, making customs is not available to normal members.
Communication.
In GZ, the zoids can speak. Whatever they say is written in italics. Some people, however, don't want their zoid to talk. That's fine too, but for those of you who want more contact with your machine, that's how you do iy..
NPZ (non-player-zoids).
None player zoids are basically the zoids someone roleplays in an RP to spice things up. These are allowed only to spice up the RP, not to aid you in defeating someone or something. You can beat them up, or try to beat a friend up with 'em, but beating one of these guys does not count on your battle records.
