The characters on GZ are NORMAL. No one turns into an animal, or secretly has another form, or has wings, or anything like that. People are people.. Races. There are three races in GZ: "Human", "Ancient Zoidian", and the "Half Breed". Humans are, obviously, humans. The humans could be born and raised on Zi, or be one of the few that traveled from Earth. Ancient Zoidians are, once again, obviously ancient zoidians. There could very well be ancient zoidians from the ancient times of Zi, or modern ancient zoidians born into modern Zi by original ancient zoidians. Half Breeds are a cross between the two. Originals. Original characters from the Zoids TV show are allowed on the site. However, only Chaotic Century: Guardian Force characters are permitted. We may make an exception to characters from the Zoids Saga time line since there's so much ZOS Time Space Fusion stuff at that point. Anyways, we ask that if you get a character from the show, that you roleplay them as closely to their personality as possible. Also, GZ is an RPG set four years after the destruction of the Death Saurer, Hiltz, and the Dark Kaiser. You can change the character's clothing a bit and such. They must possess their zoid from the show, or an evolution of that zoid. Check the RPG's member listings to see what characters are already being played. Keep in mind that your character will meet new faces on his or her travels, and possibly get a new zoid though. As long as you start out like they were from the show, and change them bit by bit, that's okay. Make sure to have a good reason and their history written in their bios. Lastly, characters that died in the show remain dead. No exceptions. No original's relatives. No characters that are 'related' to originals from the show will be allowed into the site at all. No need for Prozen's long lost brother to come along and try the whole world domination thing, kay? Nothing like that. Relationships. Relationships (As in romance) between characters is fine. But is is strictly forbidden to go overboard, especially graphicly. Ever heard of crossing the line? Don't do it. Got it? Good. GZ is not a place to practice perverted role play. Also, romantic relationships are strictly for a male and female combination only. No shojo-ai or shonen-ai stuff, kay? I don't care how popular it may be. It has no place in GZ. Death. It is possible for your character to be killed in a RP. Either on foot, or in a zoid, it's something that can happen. Be careful out there. You may either delete the character from our database member list yourself, or simply declare him or her dead on his profile topics. Also, you must make sure it's okay with the role player to kill their character. If some massive incident happens when role playing, and your character is face to face with death, and you do not want your character dead, then you have permission to cheat death. Whether a friend's organoid bursts in and saves your butt, or you just defy death in some way or another, it's okay if you don't want your character dead. NPC Characters. A non-player-character is a character you have created for the plot in an RP you're in. They are role played by one of the people on the board, and are mainly used to spice up the battle or plot in the RP. You are not required to have a bio for these characters or anything, but it's nice to have an extensive bad guy or something for your character. However, these people do have limits. You can NOT have them burst into a battle, and save your butt. You CAN have them be a bad guy in a plot and whoop his butt though. He could even whoop your butt for all you know.
